About Scott Snyder
Scott was born in New York and grew up in New York and Southern California. He attended the University of California at Berkeley, graduating in 1984 cum laude with Honors in Social Science. After graduating from Berkeley, he was awarded a full graduate scholarship and teaching assistantship in Political Science at the Nelson A. Rockefeller School of Public Affairs and Policy at the State University of New York at Albany. He earned his Masters degree in Political Science in 1986 and was honored by the university and student body with a Citation for Excellence as a Teaching Assistant. In 1990, Scott earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law, also honored by an award for Outstanding Oral Advocacy in the Moot Court Program. He became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 1990. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal court.
Scott has practiced law in Oregon for more than 35 years. He has extensive experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and negotiations.
